Sycada has many years of experience with developing mobile/in-car solutions in the automotive sector. A good example is the Parkinfo service, initially developed in cooperation with BMW, and now hosted by Sycada on behalf of ADAC. Sycada has been a pioneer in the practical development of Internet connectivity in cars for both diagnostic and CRM purposes.
Currently, Sycada is involved in numerous innovative projects, including:
- Eco driving initiatives: Driver profiling and driver feedback based on collection and analysys of vehicle data, including fuel consumption, speed, idle times, brake and acceleration patters. Trip based feedback to drivers is a key element in saving fuel costs and reducing CO-2 emissions.
- Electrical cars: Co-development of battery charging infrastructure and mobile payment system for electrical vehicles in urban areas and for corporate grounds.
- Remote vehicle diagnostics: Sycada’s platform is geared to support various on-board devices collecting vehicle data, including OEM fault codes from the CanBUS of a vehicle (PKW/LKW). Fault codes can then be distributed to various parties in the Automotive value-chain based on commercial agreements between parties.
