Sycada has extensive experience with mobile solutions in the courier and postal market. Key here is the ability to control and manage ‘the last mile’ – once the parcel or mail has left the (regional) hub or depot and is in the final stage of delivery.
Our mobile solutions include:
- GPS delivery quality control: Sycada has developed an innovative way of monitoring the timely and accurate delivery of parcels and mail. Using Sycada’s GPS person tracker, or a Sycada application on a GPS PDA/Smartphone, the status and progress of deliveries can be monitored in real-time. In addition, quality audits can be conducted at client level and reports can be generated to support SLA agreements with clients. This eliminates the need for external call center to control quality and gives much better and detailed quality data to help you measure and steer quality at level of hub, depot and individual postal worker.
- Time registration: The above system can be used to register start/end times of a working day of a postal worker, along with breaks in between. This leads to better control of working hours and the possibility to fully automate working time administration.
Apart from the above, Sycada also delivers the standard GPS tracking functionality for vehicles allowing real-time insight into positions as well as detailed operational reporting at vehicle and driver level.
