CANbus data is a valuable source of information allowing you to monitor and influence driver behaviour in order to save fuel costs. By gathering and analyzing CANbus data, you can compare the performance of trucks and drivers on an ongoing basis and create awareness of how to drive more efficiently.

Sycada solution allows you to gather data on critical dimensions of driver style, including (but not limited to):
  • Vehicle speed profile
  • Cruising profile
  • Coasting time
  • Engine speed/revs
  • Engine torque
  • Brake applications
  • Retarder usage
By excessive fuel usage, it is possible to analyze and, subsequently, coach drivers on their driving behaviour.

A CANbus interface to the digital tacho is also available, allowing you to transmit and monitor tacho data per vehicle and per driver. This reduces the need for downloading tacho data and allows you to monitor how much trip time a driver has left at any given point in time.
